Winter is upon us and with short days and cold southerlies comes daydreams of perfect tropical waves reeling through an uncrowded line up in paradise. Luckily, new last-minute surf-travel agent GoSea has the solution to ensure winter 2010 is not all shivers and steamers. GoSea has last-minute rates on all the best boats and resorts in Indonesia and the Maldives, and are now taking bookings through www.gosea.com Using a similar model to the many websites offering discounted last-minute hotel bookings, GoSea provides punters access to discounted surf trips to lands where epic barrels peel straight past your boat or balcony. A spokesman for GoSea said, “Just like hotels offer discounted rates to fill their rooms, we provide an outlet for surf charter boats and land camps to do the same within 60 days prior to travel. Everyone wins, the punter scores a discounted surf trip and the operators fill their spots.” These guys aren’t mucking around either. They list the best names in the business and guarantee trips will be the lowest price available anywhere. With best price guarantees on names like Freedom 3, Resort Latitude Zero and Ocean Dancer and plenty of discounts on already bargain packages like the Joyos Camp in G-Land, GoSea looks to have revolutionised the surf travel industry by offering a full e-commerce booking engine for last minute surf trips. For an indication of what’s on offer, the luxury Maldivian boat, the Manta Cruise is offering 25% off their already affordable charters! “For operators to list surf trips with us, they must be surf travel specialists offering heavily discounted trips at the lowest available price anywhere, that’s our condition for working with them,” the spokesman said. Let’s face it, that is about as good as it gets. An exotic surf trip is one of the greatest experiences you can have, but always meant a heap of research and planning. With GoSea, just a few clicks gives you the cheapest option with the best operators. Make sure you have your credit card handy! All trips include most meals, airport transfers and accommodation and GoSea can book your flights too. There’s nothing else you have to do but phone the boss and call in sick. Head to www.gosea.com to check it out. |
