Kawana Boardriders Results for May

Kawana Boardriders Club held their May club competition on Sunday in small, testing conditions. The wind blew strong from the south east and at times it rained but everyone managed a few waves with some stand outs in the junior and opens divisions.

Masters: 1st Geoff O’Connor, 2nd Gordon Barett, 3rd Richard Salisbury, 4th Brian Croke

Seniors: 1st Ryan Drew, 2nd Marty Simpson, 3rd Tom James, 4th Indra Gynell

Pa & Ma Bendall 09 results

While Nathan Hedge from Narabeen, New South Wales took the top honours in the Open Mens division at the Pa and Ma Bendall Memorial surfing competition down south, there were still plenty Sunshine Coast names in the final results.

Coolum Teams challenge results

A 1 -2 -3 finish for the Sunshine Coast clubs in this years championship is a major achievement for the local area and shows how strong the clubs are when it comes to team surfing.
